Child Prodigy Mom Continues to Spotlight the Brilliance Within All Children!

ATLANTA, GA – Michelle Brown-Stafford, Parental Involvement Expert and Prodigy Mom of 14 Year-Old College student and media darling Stephen Stafford, continues to educate parents in a new approach to parental involvement.   This month’s workshop, at the YMCA of Carver Villages to be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., will center on ways for parents to develop and nurture their child’s potential in education; whether a child has been labeled as gifted or struggle in core subjects in school.

According to Mrs. Brown-Stafford, potential has no limits and while the classroom may be limited in nature, parents will be provided “keys” to assist teachers in unlocking gifts and talents within their children. In addition, variables which may hinder a child from expressing academic brilliance within the classroom or even as home schoolers will be explored.   Parents are expected to come away from the free workshop with a renewed sense of empowerment and solutions that can immediately improve their children’s academic standing.

Mrs. Brown-Stafford champions, lectures and teaches parental involvement for a new generation to community/parent groups and has appeared on CNN, Headline News, The Tyra Banks Show, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, NPR as well as other media outlets.  Her national workshop tour has now gone global and has scheduled stops in Nassau, Bahamas and London, England.  Admittance is free!

Shavon I love this THANK YOU! I am now paying it forward - know that "I WILL/NEED TO WAIT FOR YOU"! #GIG

OMG I am shoutin'!! This was right on time!! To think I almost passed it up thinking it was spam.
This POETESS brought it! I claim this RHEMA WORD (ideology) for myself and my daughter.
This was enveloped in truth, transparency, honesty and God's directive. Places things back into perspective - I will continue to be obedient and wait

I share this to all my soldier sisters out there...

My heart absolutely melted

So yesterday I asked my son to come upstairs and get schink schink (Princess Aurya's nick name) while I followed up with some clients.
It became awfully quiet downstair so I went to investigate. This is what I encountered...

People say you don't know what you've got until it's gone. Truth is, you knew exactly what you had; you just thought you'd never lose it.

My son just scared the mess out of me... (Not literally)

I went into Aurya's room to remove her from her swing and place her in her crib. So as I was placing her I saw her bottle and grabbed it and proceeded to walk out. I realized that the cap from her bottle was missing so I looked under her crib for it and who's under there Ste'Fon. I yelled out in excitement and startlement - "Ede ( he did not stir

I do recall seeing him go in there to calm Aurya down and help her go to sleep but didn't realize he was still in there. I was going to wake him up but figured it'd be more fun and interesting to take pics and post them.

I will never be able to recapture this unless he accidentally fall asleep under her crib again while trying to keep her company to help her go to sleep.

Btw I've been typing this for 10 minutes and he just woke up none the wiser that I'm posting this on my website.(giggling)

Fathers who do not give their daughters worth growing up - end up like the women is the video clip.

http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh872c7sOpc7P8OXh0

I listened to this whole entire segment and it literally PISSED me off and it is very difficult to upset me. (ask my friends closets to me)
WHAT THE Freakin MESS!!! This woman is upset b/c her husband is too nice, sincerely loves her, takes care of her and HER 4 children and cooks for her (and btw she is mad (as she smiles) because his cooking made her gain weight)!!! WHAT THE MESS!

IS THIS A JOKE!?!?! Yeah This is a joke right??? I know Ashton Kutcher is going to jump out any minute ... we're being Punk'd <looking around>

I don't dislike people but I literally really DISLIKE this WOMAN!!!! Bordering on hatred!
What a stupid stupid simple minded woman!
I don't fight but I wanna kick her a*$

God says hate what He hates right!! I hate this woman's motives, agenda, scheme, framework and actions.
Classic chickenheadedness <~~~Is that a word (Hmmph, now it is!)

OMG I am seriously MAD (beyond the point of being upset) and what makes it more tragic is that her husband misses her because his feelings were genuine. My heart is breaking for him.

But unfortunately there are so many many women out there that have this woman's same mindset. (Battered wives syndrome)She said that she felt he was too good to be true that a man/husband would/could never truly love her so she sabotaged her own relationship/marriage; because of her negative mental conditioning of always being mistreated. ONLY if a man mistreats her only then it means he loves her. (SMH)

It all starts when we are babies - blank canvasses being sketched, erased and redrawn over and over again. Tha is why It is so imperative that fathers not only  love their daughters' but show them in both word AND deed. My Bishop (Dale C. Bronner) states fathers who do not give their daughters worth, grow up looking for a man to put a price on them.

Sad sad course of events. At some point and time women have to love themselves and let go of their past and baggage so God can give them better and we must accept that we DESERVE to be loved and cherished so our daughters can grow up to repeat and seek out healthy loving relationships and own their right to happiness.

One must love themselves in order to be loved and reciprocate it.
